MACA is a place where experiences are built and worlds of knowledge are explored through its collections and temporary exhibitions. It is a space to discover, enjoy, listen, reflect, observe, question, learn, and be inspired.
The MACA educational programme, developed entirely by the museum, is supported by the Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana, which sustains the work of the mediation team and thus reaffirms its commitment to education through art. The museum works to expand its boundaries and generate interdisciplinary proposals that connect the discourses of the museum, the school, and the city. The museum’s main objective is to be a didactic resource that brings contemporary art closer to all types of audiences and teaches how to enjoy the aesthetic adventure through activities that showcase art and its creative processes.
At MACA, we firmly believe that attending to all audiences must be a priority; therefore, we design our educational activities to serve people with different abilities and backgrounds. We strive to promote social inclusion, enhancing quality of life through education and art as mediators.
Art is a source of knowledge that we make available to our visitors.
