Miguel Hernández University, in collaboration with the MACA of Alicante and the Charpa Gallery of Valencia, inaugurates the "Metamorphosis" exhibition by Chinese artist Bingyi
09.06.2014
The exhibition titled Metamorphosis by artist Bingyi has been jointly organized by Miguel Hernández University, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Alicante (MACA), and the Charpa gallery in Valencia. The exhibition can be visited until June 29th. The exhibition consists of three plates and an endless roll of paper that are part of her most recent creation, evoking her travels through the sacred Chinese mountains; rolls of paper and Chinese ink of large proportions that unfold lengthening like springs in the spaces where she intervened. In the "Metamorphosis" exhibition, Bingyi resorts to plays of light and shadow, soft and delicate stains, characteristic of haiku poetics, where the artist likes to express herself, manifesting her amazement and rapture produced by the contemplation of nature. More information in the complete note.
