In the first edition, we invited the neighborhood school, C.P. San Roque, to be our Resident School for its social work in the neighborhood where it is located, our own.
During the months of January to May, Primary school students visited the museum repeatedly, choosing works that impacted them and analyzing them from every possible angle. The objective was for them to be able to tell the museum's story through the chosen works to another invited educational group. The students from San Roque School chose four works from the 20th Century Art Collection and wrote a theatrical script that incorporated music and dance in order to narrate the history of this museum. The students showed great involvement in this project and used theater as a means of expression and communication to show the Primary and Secondary school students of Peñafort school their particular way of seeing and understanding art.
