What do books dream about?. Surrealism and the dream world.
In this session, we will explore the world of the Subconscious. What seems absurd to us at first glance can have a profound meaning if we look at it again.
Through play and chance, we will make free associations of ideas to create our own symbolic imagination.
*Some stories proposed for this session: "Where is Babia", "There were many things", "Never again".
Let's play and imagine. This is not a box, it's a spaceship or a hiding place, a magical door, a little house or a robot. Let's paint a horse, it can be blue, green, purple or many colors, because we are freely painting our unique vision of a horse.
A drawing will always be a representation of reality. We can represent pipes, horses, people and also go a little further: represent movement on a piece of paper, draw an emotion, paint sadness, etc.
*Some stories proposed for this session: "Where is my shoe", "Instructions for waking up a chair", "The artist who painted a blue horse".
The self-portrait understood as a journey towards the search for our own identity. Understanding and respecting our particularities and those of others. Fostering the ability to make decisions. Valuing our opinions and those of others.
Experiencing the pleasure of discovering ourselves and presenting ourselves to others through artistic expression.
*Some stories proposed for this session: "Imagine", "What are you thinking about",
"Wild," "Be yourself and nothing more", "I go with myself," "Elmer, the colorful elephant".
The artist's drawer. Where does the artist's inspiration come from?.
In this session we will put ourselves in the role of the artist to experience how the creative processes in art work. A room full of objects, memories and dreams that will help us understand how the artist's imagination is constructed.
*Some stories proposed for this session: "The Lost Thing", "The Artist's Drawer" "The Matchbox Diary", "I am an Artist", "The Cloud Factory". Coordinated by Va de cuentos and María Maraña.
Yayoi Kusama covers her paintings with dots. She paints so many polka dots that they end up coming out of her canvases covering the walls, dresses, tables and many more things. She creates magical mirror rooms with shiny balls and glitter. Fausto Gilberti illustrates and captures the vital and artistic journey of one of the most beloved contemporary artists by the public who continues to enchant audiences in museums around the world.
In Splitting (1974), the artist cut a single-family house in half from a typical middle-class American suburb, while in Conical Intersect (1975), this time in Europe, he drilled several concentric circles into the walls of a building that was going to be demolished in the popular Les Halles neighborhood in Paris. Coordinated by Va de cuentos and María Maraña
In her work, always meticulous and repetitive, Yayoi Kusama seeks to reach infinite space and suggests a reflection about the limits we see in the place we inhabit. Are these real or are they imposed by society? Does infinite space really exist?
In this album and in its lyrical narrative, inspired by the language of his autobiography, readers are shown, viewed from many different windows, the experiences of childhood and war that marked the life and art of Marc Chagall. Known for both his dazzling paintings and his colorful stained glass windows, Marc Chagall rose from his humble origins to become one of the most famous artists in the world. Discover the work of Marc Chagall in this wonderful album by the creators of The Sound of Colors, winner of the Caldecott Honor award.
We will create some paper contraptions to set in motion the lovers characters from Chagall's paintings, whom he constantly depicted floating or flying over the city.
The Spider Woman The Emotional Sculpture of Louise Bourgeois
Louise Bourgeois's mother, like spiders, dedicated her life to weaving beautiful tapestries. This is the story of how the young Louise, an apprentice weaver, became an artist and sculpted an enormous ten-meter spider called "Maman." A beautiful tale that captures the special and unbreakable relationship between a mother and a daughter. One of the most beautiful and exquisite books of the year. The story of the young sculptor Louise Bourgeois told to sensitive children and restless adults.
During the first stage of childhood, knowledge of the world and of oneself is acquired through the experience provided by the senses.
For this reason, it is fundamental that we provide stimulation for each of the senses individually, but also together, since they are not isolated from one another.

Although traditionally the night can be associated with darkness and the unknown, in children's play it acquires positive and creative dimensions. Mystery, adventure, fears, imagination and magic, introspection, transformation, connection with the universe, time of secrets and whispers. The night is linked to another powerful symbol for childhood: the moon.
