The A is a triangle and the O is a circle. Geometry and synthesis.

We are going to look for geometric shapes in our surroundings. We will take a walk through the space, observing the objects, works of art, books and drawing in our notebook the geometric figures we find. With the collection of geometric figures we gather in our notebooks, we will create our own composition.

Synthesize recognizable forms to reach visual compositions. Balance, tension, symmetry and the weights of the forms on the plane. *Some stories proposed for this session: "The Point", "The Little Red Balloon", "For Four Little Corners of Nothing".

The music of colors. Playing with the senses of sight and hearing.

A color is not something tangible, but a sensation that depends on how each person perceives it. The same happens with music, you cannot touch it and yet it produces emotions in us. In this session we will relate colors, music and emotion.

*Some stories proposed for this session: "The Queen of Colors", "Oh!", "The Monster of Colors".

From head to toe. Body and anatomy

Submitted by brandcode_deweloper on
Laboratory of Letters and Images. May 2018

From head to toe. Body and anatomy.

The body has been and is a major protagonist in the history of art. In museums we frequently encounter works in which naked bodies appear. From the Avant-garde onwards, the body shifts from being represented to being the direct tool for action and expression. Eliminating taboos, speaking naturally about nudity, or using our body in action as a means of artistic expression are some of the objectives of this session.

*Some stories proposed for this session: Collection "The map of my body" ("Breasts", "Nostrils", "Scabs", "Teeth", "Belly button", "Soles of the feet").

This is not a pipe. Reality Vs Representation

Submitted by brandcode_deweloper on
Laboratory of Letters and Images. March 2018

This is not a pipe". Reality Vs Representation.

Let's play and imagine. This is not a box, it's a spaceship or a hiding place, a magical door, a little house or a robot. Let's paint a horse, it can be blue, green, purple or many colors, because we are freely painting our unique vision of a horse.

A drawing will always be a representation of reality. We can represent pipes, horses, people and also go a little further: represent movement on a piece of paper, draw an emotion, paint sadness, etc.

*Some stories proposed for this session: "Where is my shoe", "Instructions for waking up a chair", "The artist who painted a blue horse".

How to explore the infinite. Yayoi Kusama

Yayoi Kusama covers her paintings with dots. She paints so many polka dots that they end up coming out of her canvases covering the walls, dresses, tables and many more things. She creates magical mirror rooms with shiny balls and glitter. Fausto Gilberti illustrates and captures the vital and artistic journey of one of the most beloved contemporary artists by the public who continues to enchant audiences in museums around the world.

In Splitting (1974), the artist cut a single-family house in half from a typical middle-class American suburb, while in Conical Intersect (1975), this time in Europe, he drilled several concentric circles into the walls of a building that was going to be demolished in the popular Les Halles neighborhood in Paris. Coordinated by Va de cuentos and María Maraña

In her work, always meticulous and repetitive, Yayoi Kusama seeks to reach infinite space and suggests a reflection about the limits we see in the place we inhabit. Are these real or are they imposed by society? Does infinite space really exist?
