MACA participated for the third consecutive year in the International Museum Day. The theme proposed by ICOM this year was "The connections created by Museum collections," which emphasizes how museum collections create connections between people, generations, and cultures by preserving and displaying cultural heritage. This theme highlights that museums are living institutions that establish links through collective memory and the historical, artistic, scientific, or ethnic value of their collections.
