Do insects have a voice? And ears? How do they communicate with each other?

"Mau iz io" is the picture book that will give rise to all these questions and speculations

about insects. We will verify the narrative power of sequenced images

and immerse ourselves in the creation of an invented language, the

insect language.

There are stories in which the setting has as much or more prominence than the characters themselves.

In this session we will see books that show us vibrant cities full

of diversity. Together we will create our imagined city, contributing

ideas, desires and dreams

Are there books within books? What kind of book would you be if you were a book?

How are books made? What is a book used for? In this session

we will discover different books with the book itself as the protagonist, to pay

homage to this precious object that accompanies us in each laboratory.

Following the popular children's song about the elephant that was swaying, which gives its title to

one of our featured books, we will create small wooden elephants to

create a collective building game and experiment with balance, weights

and composition in space.

Dogs and cats have lived with us since ancient times, so much so that we

call them friends. In stories they appear as likeable, affectionate

and fun characters but also sad, brave or villainous ones.

In this session we will see how to give expressiveness with our strokes to these

beloved animals that use their tails, ears and whiskers to communicate with

us, humans.

A large circle can represent a ruthless king or a few colorful spots a group of schoolchildren. Other times a triangle is just that, a triangle, but one that has some adventures. Abstract shapes that take on personality, that tell us stories and convey emotions to us. The text accompanies them and guides our gaze. In this session we will discover how to tell stories with abstract shapes and some letters.

How big is the Universe? What is a shooting star? What is inside a black hole? Is there life on other planets?..

A space lit with black light to immerse us in a magical and sensory world, full of planets, meteorites, constellations and stars. A space to experience, play and learn more about the mysteries of the Universe and our relationship with it.

Recontextualization of everyday objects, art and play. Making reference to contemporary art proposals such as ready-made, we will play at changing the meaning of the objects around us by changing their context, their scale or experimenting and giving another value to materials such as wood, plastic and waste.

On the night of October 31st, the doors of the afterlife open so that all those terrifying stories that make us laugh and scare us to death reach us. This month of October we dedicate to all those characters who prepare potions, eat grandmothers, and cook children. Terrifying tales that we like to read on the night of the dead.

In this laboratory we will approach the great philosophical questions with the help of different specialized materials, which make use of images and stories to position children as thought provocateurs.
