The fourth edition of the project is aimed at 15 adolescents in situations of or at risk of social vulnerability who will participate in an artistic training journey throughout the year that will culminate in the "La Liada Gráfica" festival
Alicante, January 13, 2026. The Museum of Contemporary Art of Alicante presents a new edition of "MACA Play Ink. Young People Who Express," a project for personal and artistic development aimed at adolescents in situations of or at risk of social vulnerability that positions art as a tool for expression, participation, and community transformation, and which this year celebrates its fourth edition.

The project is promoted by the Daguten collective and developed in the museum, and in this edition it is carried out in collaboration with the Community Action Department of the Social Welfare Council. Since its inception, it has been consolidating itself as a stable program of cultural mediation and artistic education in the city.

The Culture Councilor, Nayma Beldjilali, explained that "this program is part of the important social aspect of the MACA with which we achieve that the museum comes to life and becomes a space for everyone, where we can learn, create and relate beyond the exhibition function of a museum".

"MACA Play Ink. Young People Who Express" is aimed at a maximum group of 15 adolescents between 14 and 18 years old, in situations of or at risk of social vulnerability. Most of the participants come from the Gastón Castelló Community Social Center, located in the North Zone of Alicante, although the participation of young people referred from other social or educational centers in the city is contemplated.
